Trinity Commons

Fundamental to Trinity is its abiding sense of community and family, yet community gathering spaces for both the Church and School are lacking on the campus. The new and impressive Trinity Commons building will provide a large and flexible space in which to hold a wide variety of events that are currently accommodated only with difficulty in Bishop Polk Hall, thus serving as a new community gathering point for both Church and School functions.

Trinity Commons will be a major addition to the campus and the centerpiece of the Campaign. Envisioned as an open, modern, and elegant 6000-square-foot space positioned at the center of the block and unifying the entire campus, Trinity Commons will be built in front of the gym facing Jackson Avenue. Large glass windows will let in light and provide an overview of new and improved recreational spaces. All Trinity School students will use the Commons daily as their Dining Hall, which will be equipped with round tables to encourage conversation and the forging of strong social connections. A new kitchen and servery will be built adjacent to the Dining Hall.

Overall Campaign Goal: $13 million

Trinity’s Capital Campaign encompasses seven distinct, but related, capital projects. The projects have been selected for inclusion in this campaign based on their high priority in preparing a foundational space for current and new programs, their importance in attracting families to both the Church and School, and their place in the sequencing of future campus renovations and additions.
